Meet Sunny the caique!

He is about 13 years old, male and is such a lovebug to people he likes!

Sadly we have discovered though that Sunny can take an instant dislike to a member of the family and we cannot change his mind on that person! If he chooses to dislike someone he will fly to them and bite them. If he likes you he’s adorable!

I am also going to say NO SMALL CHILDREN, there has been an incident with him flying at a toddler and biting his head, so please do not apply if you have little ones.

Sunny is an amazing bird and we are really looking for someone to take him on who does not expect any changes in the household i.e. no babies so perhaps a couple who have already had a family who have moved out would be ideal or a family with teenagers .

Sunny has had a vetcheck and been microchipped. He eats a seed diet and loves his fruit, he loves peas and we have been giving him various other veg which he seems less keen on but needs perseverance.

Sunny will of course come with his own cage, and his toys.
